Worker.NG exists to make it easier for people to discover artisans and service professionals in Nigeria. The information on this website is provided for directory and discovery purposes. It should not be treated as a guarantee, certification or recommendation of any individual artisan or business unless Worker.NG expressly says so.
Worker.NG does not perform the work listed in the directory
Worker.NG is a platform that helps people find and connect with artisans. The artisans listed on the platform are independent service providers unless a particular relationship is expressly stated otherwise.
Worker.NG does not, simply by publishing an artisan profile:
- employ the artisan;
- supervise the artisan’s work;
- set the artisan’s prices;
- guarantee the artisan’s availability;
- guarantee the quality of the work;
- guarantee qualifications, licences or certifications;
- guarantee that information supplied by an artisan is complete or current; or
- become a party to an agreement between an artisan and a customer.
Do your own checks
A Worker.NG profile can be a useful starting point, but it should not be the only basis for hiring someone.
Before engaging an artisan, consider discussing the scope of work, materials, price, timing and payment arrangements. For jobs involving specialist, regulated or safety-sensitive work, users should independently confirm any qualifications, licences, insurance or other requirements that apply.
Directory information
We make reasonable efforts to keep Worker.NG useful, but information can change. An artisan may change phone numbers, move, become unavailable, change prices, stop offering a service or provide information that later becomes outdated.
For that reason, Worker.NG does not promise that every profile, address, phone number, service description, rating, photograph, price indication or other piece of information will always be accurate, complete or current.
Ratings and reviews
Ratings and reviews are intended to provide additional context from users. They represent the experiences or opinions of the people who submit them and should not be treated as statements made by Worker.NG.
A high rating is not a guarantee of future performance, and a low rating does not necessarily tell the whole story. Users should consider the circumstances and carry out their own checks.
Nearby search and Worker.NG Passport
Worker.NG may use location-based features to help users discover artisans who may be working nearby.
Nearby results are based on available location information and technical calculations. They are not a guarantee that an artisan is physically present at a location at the exact time of a search.
Worker.NG Passport can allow an artisan to provide a temporary working location. A Passport location may expire and is separate from the artisan’s permanent State or LGA information.
Prices and availability
Unless specifically stated otherwise, Worker.NG does not set or guarantee the price of an artisan’s service. Prices, quotations, materials, call-out charges, timing and availability should be confirmed directly with the artisan before work begins.
Third-party links and services
Worker.NG may link to third-party websites, services or resources. Those websites are outside our control. A link does not necessarily mean Worker.NG endorses the third party, its products, its services or its claims.
Advertising
Worker.NG may display advertising from third-party advertising providers. The presence of an advertisement does not mean Worker.NG recommends or guarantees the advertised product, service or business.
Information for general purposes
Nothing on Worker.NG should be interpreted as professional legal, financial, medical, engineering, construction or other specialist advice. Where a situation requires professional advice or regulated expertise, users should consult an appropriately qualified professional.
