You can find artisans and service professionals across a range of trades and services. The directory is organised around skills and locations so you can start with what you need and narrow your search to the places that matter to you.

Start from Find an Artisan and search by the service or skill you need. You can also browse skills and locations, or use the nearby option when you want to find artisans working close to you.

Yes. Worker.NG has a nearby discovery feature that can use your device's location to find published artisan profiles with a relevant working location nearby.

You need to give your browser or device permission to use your location. If you do not grant permission, you can still use the normal directory and search features.

Nearby results are based on available location information and a distance calculation. They are intended to help you discover potentially relevant artisans, not to guarantee that an artisan is physically standing at a particular location at the exact moment you search.

Worker.NG Passport is a location feature for artisans who may work in different places over time. It allows an eligible artisan to share a current working location for nearby discovery without changing the State or LGA associated with the main profile.

Consider an artisan who normally lives and works in Abuja but spends several weeks on a project in another part of the city, or travels to another state for a job. Their permanent profile location may still be correct, but customers in the area where they are currently working may need to find them.

Passport is designed for that situation.

No. A Passport location is separate from the main profile's State and LGA information. It can be temporary and can expire, depending on the option selected by the artisan.

No. The exact coordinates used for nearby calculations are not displayed publicly as part of the nearby search results.

Visit Join Worker.NG and follow the registration process. Once your profile is set up, you can provide information about your skills and services so potential customers can discover you.

If a profile represents you or your business and is eligible for claiming, you can use the claim process associated with that profile. Worker.NG may ask for information needed to determine whether a claim is legitimate.

Once a legitimate claim is accepted, the appropriate account features can allow the profile owner to manage eligible information and keep the listing more useful to customers.

Yes, eligible profile owners can manage the information available to them through their Worker.NG account. Keeping your profile current is important, especially your services, contact information and working location.

Yes. That is one of the reasons Worker.NG Passport exists. If you work temporarily in another area, Passport can help you appear in nearby discovery without requiring you to replace your permanent State or LGA profile information.

Depending on the option selected, a Passport location can remain active for a limited period such as 7, 30 or 90 days, or remain active until the artisan changes or clears it. An expired location is no longer used as the active nearby location.

Not necessarily. A directory profile should not be confused with professional certification, government licensing, insurance, or a guarantee from Worker.NG.

Where Worker.NG provides a claim or other profile status, that status should be understood in the context in which it is displayed. Customers should still carry out appropriate checks before hiring someone.

Ratings and reviews are submitted by users and are intended to reflect their experiences. Worker.NG takes steps to discourage abuse and manipulation, but ratings should still be treated as one source of information rather than an absolute guarantee of future work.

Artisans cannot simply remove a rating because they dislike it. If a rating or review appears fraudulent, abusive, unlawful or otherwise violates the platform's rules, it can be reported for review.

Please let us know. Outdated phone numbers, incorrect locations, duplicate profiles and other inaccurate information reduce the usefulness of the directory. You can report an issue through our Contact page.

Yes. If you believe a profile contains fraudulent, misleading, abusive or otherwise inappropriate information, please contact Worker.NG and explain what you have found. Providing the profile URL and specific details will help us investigate it.

No. Worker.NG is a directory and discovery platform. Unless we expressly state otherwise for a particular service, artisans listed on Worker.NG are independent service providers and are not employees of Worker.NG.

No. A profile on Worker.NG does not guarantee workmanship, qualifications, availability, pricing or the outcome of a job.

Before hiring someone, discuss the job carefully, agree on what will be done, confirm the price and payment arrangements, and make any checks that are appropriate for the type of work involved.

No. Prices are normally determined by the artisan and the customer. Materials, labour, transport, call-out charges and the complexity of a job can all affect the final price. Confirm the details directly before work begins.

Worker.NG is primarily a discovery and connection platform. Unless a particular Worker.NG service expressly says otherwise, payment arrangements are made directly between the customer and artisan.

Generally, no. You can browse and search the public directory without creating an account. Some features, such as managing an artisan profile, require you to sign in.

An account allows eligible users to access features that are not available to ordinary visitors, such as managing an artisan profile or using profile-related tools.

Use the available account recovery option on the Worker.NG login or account page. If you still cannot access your account, contact us through Contact.

Worker.NG may contain directory profiles that were created or assembled through permitted processes, but claiming or controlling a profile is different from simply finding it in the directory. A person must not impersonate an artisan or falsely claim ownership of a profile.

No. Browser-based nearby discovery requires you to actively use the location feature and grant the relevant permission. Worker.NG does not need continuous background location access for the nearby search to work.

Your location is useful when you choose to search for artisans near you. It allows Worker.NG to calculate which published profiles are close to the search location.

Nearby discovery does not publicly display your exact device coordinates. For more information about location information, cookies, accounts and other personal information, please read our Privacy Policy.

At a minimum, make sure you understand what you are hiring the person to do and what it will cost. For specialist or safety-sensitive work, confirm relevant experience, qualifications, licences or other requirements that apply.

For larger jobs, it can also be sensible to ask for references, agree on milestones, document the scope of work and avoid making assumptions about what is included in a quotation.

Worker.NG cannot automatically resolve every disagreement between an artisan and a customer because the underlying service agreement is normally between those two parties.
