WORKER.NG

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 4 September 2026

Welcome to Worker.NG. These Terms of Use explain the rules that apply when you visit, browse, create an account, submit information, claim an artisan profile, use our discovery tools, or otherwise use the Worker.NG website and services.

By using Worker.NG, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the platform.

1. What Worker.NG is

Worker.NG is an online directory and discovery platform that helps people find artisans and service professionals in Nigeria.

We provide tools and information that help users discover artisans and contact them. We are not, simply because an artisan appears on Worker.NG, the employer, contractor, agent, guarantor or representative of that artisan.

2. Using the directory

You may browse Worker.NG for lawful purposes and use the information available on the platform to help you decide who you may wish to contact.

You are responsible for your own decisions after discovering an artisan. Before engaging anyone, you should satisfy yourself that the person is suitable for the job, discuss the work required, agree on price and terms, and carry out any checks that are appropriate for the work involved.

3. Artisan profiles and information

Worker.NG may contain information submitted by artisans, profile owners, administrators and other users, as well as information assembled from permitted sources.

We aim to keep directory information useful and accurate, but we cannot guarantee that every profile is complete, current, available, or error-free at every moment. An artisan’s listing does not by itself constitute a guarantee of skill, qualification, licensing, reliability, availability, pricing or workmanship.

4. Accounts

Some Worker.NG features require an account. You are responsible for providing information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge and for keeping your login details secure.

You must not use another person’s account, impersonate another person, or provide misleading information in order to obtain access to features or control of a profile.

5. Claiming an artisan profile

Worker.NG may allow an eligible artisan or profile owner to claim a directory profile.

A claim does not give a person the right to control someone else’s identity or business information. We may request information or take reasonable steps to determine whether a claim is legitimate. We may reject, suspend or reverse a claim where there is a reasonable concern about ownership, identity, misuse or inaccurate information.

6. Information you submit

If you submit profile details, photographs, descriptions, reviews, ratings, contact information or other material to Worker.NG, you confirm that you have the right to provide that material and that it is not knowingly false, unlawful, defamatory, infringing, fraudulent or misleading.

You retain ownership of material you have the right to own. By submitting material to Worker.NG, you give us permission to store, reproduce, format, display and use it as reasonably necessary to operate, improve and promote the Worker.NG platform.

7. Ratings and reviews

Ratings and reviews should reflect genuine experiences and should be submitted honestly.

You must not submit fake reviews, manipulate ratings, review a business you have no genuine experience with, threaten another user to obtain a favourable review, or use ratings to harass, defame or mislead.

Worker.NG may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms or appears to be fraudulent, abusive, unlawful or otherwise unsuitable for the platform.

8. Worker.NG Passport and location features

Worker.NG may provide location-based discovery features, including Worker.NG Passport. These features are intended to help users discover artisans who may be working near a particular location.

An artisan’s Passport location may be temporary and may expire. It should not be interpreted as proof that the artisan is permanently based at that location or is physically present there at the exact moment a search is performed.

Users must grant appropriate location permissions when using browser-based nearby discovery. Location information is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

9. Prohibited use

You must not use Worker.NG to:

  • commit or facilitate fraud, theft, harassment or other unlawful activity;
  • impersonate a person or business;
  • submit knowingly false or misleading information;
  • create fake profiles or manipulate claims, ratings or reviews;
  • scrape, copy or systematically reproduce substantial parts of the directory without permission;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems or data;
  • upload malicious code or interfere with the operation of the website;
  • use Worker.NG to send spam or unsolicited bulk communications; or
  • use information obtained from Worker.NG in a way that violates applicable law or another person’s rights.

10. Jobs, payments and agreements

Any agreement for work, including its scope, price, timing, materials, payment, warranty and other terms, is between the parties involved unless Worker.NG expressly states otherwise.

Worker.NG does not guarantee that an artisan will accept a job, attend an appointment, complete work, charge a particular price, or meet a user’s expectations.

11. Third-party websites and services

Worker.NG may contain links or references to third-party websites and services. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for the content, availability, security or practices of third-party services.

12. Availability of Worker.NG

We work to keep Worker.NG available and useful, but websites are not immune to maintenance, outages, technical failures, security incidents or changes outside our control.

We may change, suspend or discontinue parts of the platform when reasonably necessary, including for maintenance, security, legal or operational reasons.

13. Intellectual property

The Worker.NG name, branding, website design, software, original text, graphics and other platform materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws unless otherwise stated.

You may use Worker.NG normally for its intended purpose. You may not reproduce, modify, sell, republish or commercially exploit substantial parts of the platform without appropriate permission.

14. Disclaimer and limitation of responsibility

Worker.NG is provided as a directory and discovery service. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or continued availability of every piece of directory information, nor do we guarantee the conduct, qualifications, availability, pricing or workmanship of any artisan.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

15. Suspension or termination

We may restrict or suspend access to an account, profile, submission or feature where we reasonably believe there has been a violation of these Terms, fraud, abuse, a security concern, or another serious risk to the platform or its users.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Worker.NG develops or legal and operational requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

17. Contact
