1. Information You Provide to Us (Artisans) When you voluntarily submit a profile to be listed on Worker.NG, we collect the personal information you provide, such as:

• Your first name and business name.
• Your primary skill, services offered, and a description of your work.
• Your location details (State, LGA, Town, Landmark).
• Your contact information (Phone Number, WhatsApp Number).
• Photos you upload (Profile Picture, Cover Photo).

This information is collected for the express purpose of creating your public profile on our directory.

1. Information We Collect Automatically

• For Users Rating an Artisan: When you submit a rating, we collect your IP address. We use this information solely to prevent duplicate votes and ensure the integrity of our rating system. We do not link your IP address to any other personally identifiable information.
• For Users Contacting an Artisan: When you use the “Send via WhatsApp” form, the name and message you enter are used to pre-fill a message link. This information is passed directly to the Artisan’s WhatsApp application and is not stored by Worker.NG.
• Standard Log Data: Like most websites, we may collect standard log information such as your browser type and pages visited for analytical purposes to improve our Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate, maintain, and improve the Worker.NG directory.
• Display public profiles of Artisans.
• Enable communication between Users and Artisans.
• Prevent fraud and abuse of our rating system.
• Respond to your comments and questions.

3. How We Share Your Information

• Public Profiles: The information you provide as an Artisan for your profile is, by its nature, public information that can be seen by anyone visiting the website.
• Direct Communication: When a User contacts you via the WhatsApp form, the information they provide is shared with you directly.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation.
• No Sale of Data: We do not and will not sell your personal information to third parties.
